Interested in learning more about First Unitarian Church of Orlando? Curious about how Unitarian Universalism might deepen your spirit? Wondering what membership in the congregation involves and if membership is the next step for you? Wonderful! 

To learn more about the congregation, the 1U Membership Team encourages regular attendance at worship services, participation at the Conversation Corner after the service and other fellowship and justice events. There are also Religious Enrichment opportunities offering more information about 1U and Unitarian Universalism. Get to know this denomination, this congregation and other folks who share this journey together. All our events are announced in the Weekly Update and on the 1U webpage at orlandouu.org.

Exploring UU Values and the Path to Membership 

Love is the power that holds us together and is at the center of our shared values.

This series allows us to explore those values more deeply, and discern how they impact our lives. These shared values inform and transform our individual lives, as well as the congregation as a community. All are welcome to attend, whether you are exploring UU values, considering membership, or already a committed 1U member.

Generosity, 1U community, and the rights, responsibilities, and details of membership

Plan to attend all three sessions, which are offered in person one Sunday a month OR online one Wednesday a month. Please, indicate your preference when completing the registration form.

Fall 2024 series

In-person: Sundays at 9:00am, 9/15/24, 10/20/24, 11/17/24; 9am, Gathering Space (Enrichment Center)

Childcare is available beginning at 9:00am, in the Nursery of the Enrichment Center. 

Zoom: Wednesdays at 7:30pm, 9/18/24, 10/23/24, 11/20/24; 7:30pm (link will be provided with registration confirmation)
