Governance Committee
The Governance Committee is responsible to the Board of Trustees for
- Ensuring that our Bylaws and governance policies and procedures are documented and reviewed annually.
- Ensuring that our Bylaws and governance policies are implemented as intended.
- Reviewing new governance polices recommended by the Chief of Staff or any governance committee, and making recommendations to the Board.
- Assisting in the Board’s functions as requested, such as the annual retreat, new member orientation, and the annual self-evaluation.
- Collaborating with and acting as the liaison to the Board for the Strategic Planning team.
- Reviewing progress on the Strategic Plan annually and reporting to the Board.
At least one Board member will be a member of the Governance Committee.
The Committee meets as needed.
