These volunteers offer kind, practical, tangible efforts to members experiencing significant joys, concerns, sorrows, or changes in their lives. Our monthly volunteer coordinators follow up on Joys and Concerns expressed at Sunday worship, as well as notices from the minister or other church members.

Our help includes sending cards, making phone calls, and delivering flowers cut from our 1U Flower Garden. It can include creation of a short-term meal train, transportation, etc., usually for medical reasons.

A special program pairs members as “hurricane buddies,” with a checklist to ensure members are prepared when a storm threatens.
