In addition to worship, music, learning, and justice you will find there are many additional programs, groups, and activities at our church! This is a thriving congregation that is sure to have something for everyone. 

Our Congregational Life Ministry serves visitors to 1U, supports our fellowship groups, provides information to those interested in the path to membership, and helps our new and existing members and friends to make more connections within our Beloved Community. 

Fellowship Groups offer our visitors, members and friends a variety of opportunities to make connections and get to know each other.  Here are some of our groups that gather for activities and fellowship:

• RUUM (Retired UU Men)
• WUURL (Women UUs Relishing Life)
• Young Adults

Our Care Team is a group of volunteers who offer various types of logistical and emotional support to our members. 

The Membership Committee includes a Welcome Team  that greets new visitors every Sunday, and answers their questions. Among other things, the committee then 

• Offers classes for prospective members and plans the celebration when they join.
• Helps both visitors and new members find connections in the congregation.

The Leadership Development Committee provides new and existing church leaders, and those aspiring to leadership roles, with ongoing support and training. It also leads the Group Leaders Council that meets monthly to coordinate across all group leaders.
