The Operations Team coordinates our groups that manage the facilities needed to maintain the healthy operation of First Unitarian Church of Orlando and its many ministries, safety and security on our campus, leasing our space, and internal and external communications.

The four major groups are

The Buildings and Grounds Team,  which ensures our space is clean, safe, comfortable, easily accessible, and environmentally friendly. Their goal is ensure our buildings and campus remain attractive and well-maintained over the long term.

The Arts and Design Team  works with Buildings and Grounds to recommend the location and design of art and historical items in campus buildings, along with temporary displays of items provided by members in Gore Hall and the Sanctuary. 

The Building Rental Team

  1. Works directly with long-term tenants for lease negotiations and modifications.
  2. Manages lease compliance issues with long-term tenants.
  3. Responds to requests for long-term rental space.

The Safety Team is responsible for reviewing and updating the Campus Safety Plan annually, as well as conducting safety trainings and drills, and communicating safety information to the congregation.
