Racial Justice Collaborative
Our mission is: to educate our congregation about Racial Justice. Our two primary Initiatives are the 8th Principle Implementation Team and Wrestling with Our Understanding of Racism discussion group . We also encourage all to take the The Beloved Conversations Program is a “program for people seeking to embody racial justice as a spiritual practice.” A primary experiential learning opportunity for racial justice learners-and we are all learners-is the Beloved Conversations program.”

The events of the past few years have called our attention to issues of race and white supremacy.
We meet the first Sunday of each month at Noon to explore our thoughts and feelings around racism through discussions, speakers, and readings.

8th Principle Implementation
Mission: Our mission is to encourage implementation of the 8th Principle in all initiatives of our congregation.

Additional Learning Opportunities-Building Communities
Beloved Conversations Virtual is a program “grounded in Unitarian Universalism, developed and offered by the Fahs Collaborative at Meadville Lombard Theological School, and open to all learners. In Beloved Conversations, we are here to heal the impact of racism on our lives, in order to get free together.”
