The Members Area houses groups of files that are of interest to current members of First Unitarian Church of Orlando, and includes information about registering and logging in to this website for the first time [#10, below]. Those topics preceded by an asterisk[*] require that the member be logged in to the website to view the information. Links to all the topics are in blue text below or appear in the menu to the left.

  7. Operations: Details about our Operations Ministry, which is responsible for oversight of Buildings and Grounds maintenance, finding new tenants and acting as liaisons to current tenants with leases, campus safety, and our internal and external communications.
  8. Campus Safety Plan: A series of policies to provide for the care and safety of our congregation; our buildings and grounds; the oversight of our children and youths’ Religious Enrichment (RE) program; and procedures to minimize and respond to disruptive behavior.
  9. *Building Handbooks: Each of our three buildings on campus has a Handbook, which is a set of operating procedures designed to ensure that leaders, members and guests are aware of how each building should be opened and securely closed, what to do if a safety or maintenance issue arises, and the locations of various electrical services in each building. Members must be logged in to view this information.
  10. 1U Website: Registering and Logging In:  You will need to register [see blue button below] and create a password before you can log in for the first time. Use the email address used for your Weekly Update and other church emails to register. You will need to achieve a “Strong” password rating on the Registration Page. If you just want to use only lower (or upper) case letters, 12 characters should do it. If you use numbers and/or special symbols in addition to letters, your password can be a bit shorter.  Once you have registered, as you log in remember to check the box next to Remember Me so you will not need to log in repeatedly in the future. If you use more than one device to view the website, you will have to log in at least once on each device.
