Governance Committee
The Governance Committee is responsible to the Board of Trustees for
- ensuring that our Bylaws and governance policies and procedures are documented, and reviewed annually.
- ensuring that our Bylaws and governance policies are implemented as intended.
- reviewing new governance polices recommended by the Chief of Staff or any governance committee, and making recommendations to the Board.
- assisting in the Board’s functions as requested, such as the annual retreat, new member orientation and the annual self-evaluation.
- collaboration with and as the liaison to the Board for the Strategic Planning team.
- reviewing progress on the Strategic Plan annually, and reporting to the Board.
At least one Board member will be a member of the Governance Committee.
The Committee meets as needed.
