Outreach & Justice Work
First Unitarian Church of Orlando stands for many things — including Justice Work! Projects and issues range from letter writing to advocate for climate change, picketing supermarkets to ask for fair wages for farm workers, organizing an annual entry in the local Pride Parade to demand equal rights for ALL families, and much more! Learn a bit more about our past issues or just jump right in with a group to work on current issues.
Although they represent different causes, these program committees and affinity groups seek and support justice work in many different ways throughout the year.

Ongoing Justice Projects
As individuals and as a whole Congregation, members of First Unitarian advocate for many things and seek justice in many places. There's many ways to advocate!
Request use of the advocacy desk to start a letter writing campaign or petition. Check the listed Advocacy groups other church members are involved in. Or see what volunteer opportunities there are with social service agencies.
