Directions & Parking

There are many parking options for the thoughtful member, friend, or visitor on lively Sunday mornings at our campus.  Here’s a few tips to make parking easier.

Directions

Click here for a Google map. We are located at

First Unitarian Church of Orlando
1901. E Robinson St
Orlando, FL 32803

Visit the worship schedule and worship news to make sure you know the current schedule.

Show up a bit earlier than the Service time to ensure time to park.

Our Religious Education program has activities for all ages including weekly adult salons as well as opportunities to teach our children & youth. You are always welcome to sit in on a class.

And showing up 20 minutes before the Sunday service will reward you with a prime parking space as well as time to walk the Labyrinth and enjoy our Memorial Garden.

Bike or Carpool once in a while.

Over 50% of members live within 5 miles of the church. Think about inviting someone to join you on the trip to church. The bike rack is actually the closest parking to the Sanctuary!

Reserved parking

The church parking lot has marked spots for the handicapped, visitors, and our minister. Also, the area next to the Gore Hall kitchen should be used for loading and unloading. Parking there may mean that a fellow member has to carry heavy items a much farther distance.

Parking for the less mobile

We have several members who have somewhat limited mobility.  Here is a couple ideas to accommodate them:

  • Those members who need help could pull into the church parking lot and ask someone of driving age to please park their car for them. Most of us would be happy to do that for you.
  • Other members can save parking spaces for those in need! Park on the street even though there are spaces left on property.

Grass Parking

  • The field is open for grass parking on Sundays.
  • Try to park as closely to other cars on the grass as you do in the marked spaces and be careful about ruts and ditches.
  • Please watch for our children too – we’re really lucky to have so many around the church, but it means they’re potentially everywhere!

No Parking Areas

On church grounds, please remember not to park in front of the Assembly Room, in front of the Sanctuary, or parallel to any curbs. Doing so may block access for emergency vehicles. Parking should only be done in the marked parking spaces or on the grass behind the R.E. Complex. And please don’t park right next to the bike rack at the back of Gore Hall, we need to encourage it’s use as much as possible.

Nearby Street Parking & Street Safety

Park safely on quiet streets – That’s right, Hampton and Robinson aren’t the only options. Look at the map below.

There is ample parking in the neighborhood to our east, on Altaloma directly to our west, on Fern Circle, north off of Livingston, and on Jefferson & Rosearden to our south.

Make sure you are parking in a legal area remember that parking restrictions occasionally change (for example, parking on Rosearden is prohibited at night). Also, please be conscientious about our neighbors. We want them to be happy they live near our church!

Please note, if you park on Robinson or need to cross Robinson, cars typically drive by at speeds over 40 m.p.h.
