Adult RE Committee

The Adult RE Committee a Program Group at First Unitarian. It is responsible for the Adult Religious Education program. It oversees:

Adult RE Committee is affiliated with these Adult groups at our church that also have educational components or events:

Green Team (various "green" classes or eco-justice issues)
Meditation Group (weekly session and weekend retreats)
Mystic Grove (pagan/heathen studies)
Guest Orientation Class and The Path to Membership Class

Adult RE Committee communicates and coordinates across all these groups to produce the Adult Catalog for each term so adult students can easily find the learning opportunities at First Unitarian.

The Adult RE Committee makes an effort to coordinate work with the Children’s RE Committee where possible to create “lifespan learning” possible at First Unitarian.

Sunday Morning Adult Education Is Expanding - Sep 2011

As we move to two Sunday morning worship services on Sept. 18, we are expanding our programming in the area of Adult Education as well.These offerings will take place between the two services and will run from 10:15 to 11:15am.Each Sunday morning, there will be three options from which to choose.All programs will allow drop-ins, though some may provide a deeper experience if attended on a regular basis.
