The 1U A/V team is responsible for providing both audio and video at Worship Services and other church events.
New volunteers are always welcome. While volunteers with technical knowledge are great, no experience is necessary. Anyone can do it! Commitment is minimal. Volunteers are asked to serve once a month on audio or video, but not both. Sign-up is easy and uses an online spreadsheet so you can always see who else is signed up, and any other information relevant to each week.
Training is ongoing and personalized for each volunteer based on their experience. We have simple how-to guides, tailored to our system. We also provide hands-on training and shadowing opportunities. No one is asked to help before they feel comfortable with the technology.
