Want to help at First Unitarian? Here's where you will find all the current volunteer opportunities at the home campus. Help out with Social Hour, youth car washes, or campus work days! Give a few hours to stuff envelopes for PR materials, organize the kids' art supply closet, or do some typing. There's always a small job somewhere to suit your style of volunteership! You can also view Justice news and the Fellowship and Socializing news for other ways to be a part of "Church Life" at First Unitarian. There's also the occassional opportunity beyond our campus too!

Isn't it wonderful to see and feel the energy at 1U! We clearly have reached a new level of interest and involvement. The same is being experienced within many of the smaller interest groups and programs that members and friends belong to, and nowhere more than in Social Justice. There is alot going on now and in the future - immigration education and advocacy, farm worker rallies, Green team cinema, gardening and ethical eating seminars, adoption advocacy, media reform, homelessness, Standing on the Side of Love - the Valentine Heart and much more. We are walking the walk of the UUA seven principles! |

The Florida District Assembly meeting will be held at our church Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9th. Most people will attend just those two days, but we will also host several ministers and RE directors from Wednesday (April 6) through Saturday (or maybe Sunday). If you have a spare bedroom or two and the willingness to host a fellow UU (or more) in your home, please email Michelle Bergandi at
