10:45am Sundays in Our Sanctuary. This month we also have some special services on April 21 and April 22!
Sunday, April 3 | Community and Beyond, Lay Led The value of community is immeasurable, and extending this sense of community beyond our four walls and into the greater world is vital to the strengthening of each of us, as well as the whole. We will be exploring SUUSI (the Southeastern Unitarian Universalist Summer Institute) as one of the largest UU gatherings in the country. SUUSI, like similar UU gatherings, helps us to grow as individuals, as families, as members of our congregation, and as members of the worldwide UU community. This service will be led by Michelle Bergandi, Ross Payne, and Saydge Schmidt, your local SUUSI ambassadors. Later, please join us at the University Unitarian Universalist Society (UUUS) at 1:00pm for a sampling of SUUSI music with Mindy Simmons, composer of the children's "Rainbow Principles" song.
Sunday, April 10 | Compassionate Power, Powerful Love, Rev. Kathy Schmitz As we wrap up the weekend of the Florida Unitarian Universalist District Assembly, Rev. Kathy considers the promise of our Universalist heritage in the 21st Century.
Sunday, April 17 | Simply Earth Day, Rev. Kathy Schmitz We celebrate the upcoming Earth Day with a look at the ways in which a simpler way of living might increase the health and happiness of our own lives and of the planet. The Simple Living Institute is our Share-the-Plate recipient. There will be a second offering for the UU Ministry for Earth. Thursday, April 21| Maundy Thursday Communion Service, Rev. Kathy Schmitz Join us at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary. As we share bread and wine together in commemoration of the events leading up to the Christian celebration of Easter, we consider the messages that this branch of our spiritual history may have for Unitarian Universalists.
