Council Updates - November 2009

The October Council meeting was held on October 27. Highlights from the meeting are as follows:

• The Council would like to encourage all members, friends, and guests to use the term "Social Hour" rather than "Coffee Hour" for the time in Gore Hall following Sunday service.
• Further work was conducted toward defining and clarifying the church governance structure. A new, draft organizational chart was presented and refined, and committees and groups were assigned the task of completing a charter using the District's recommended format and examples of committees and groups that have already done this work at First Unitarian.
