As many of you know, we will not be having our traditional All-Music Service on the 31st, which is when we've traditionally kicked back in. Our actual first Sunday this year will be on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th. This will also be the "official" first Sunday for our new interim minister, Jay Deacon.

Now, that's not to say that we won't be doing an All-Music Service at some point later this year, but with it being a holiday weekend with lots of folks out of town, it’s been decided we not schedule it just yet.

To get ready, rehearsals will start back up again Thursday, August 14th at 7:00 pm in Room 3 of the RE Complex. As we missed having a mid-summer social get together to kind of wrap things up from last year, I'd like our first rehearsal to be more of an ice-breaker/reconnect/socialize/rehearsal-type thing. We'll go over our objectives and schedule for the upcoming year, provide an opportunity to discuss the ministerial transition we're currently going through and how that will affect us, and generally re-aquatint with each other. And oh yeah....we'll do some actual singing too!
