Nov 1 Publix Picket Photos Many thanks to the 20+ people from First Unitarian who came out to help our Universty UU friends and Coalition of Immokalee Workers picket the Coloniatown Publix on Sunday afternoon!
The two sister churches coordinated with Interfaith Act to bring speakers from CIW to both campuses that morning. Later we all met up at 2:30 PM at the grocery store to speak up for fair wages and safer conditions for the farm workers.  It was a great turn out of more than 100+ people!
