Share the Plate - Dec 2008

Thank you to all who have given to the Share the Plate program here at First Unitarian Church of Orlando. 

Thus far these donations have benefited The Henry Nehrling Society with a gift of $368.50 from the September collection, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee for $345.00 in October, and we raised $1,000.00 in our Nov. 16 collection for Partners In Health.

Remember that in December, we do our collection on the 24th of December rather than the third Sunday (the usual schedule), and the recipient will be the UU Trauma Response, which works all over the country in times of emergency, such as the Knoxville shootings.

Please continue to support these important organizations. Your kindness in doing so makes a difference in the lives of many needy neighbors of our planet earth.
