Leadership
Our church is based on a democratic model, with an elected Board of Trustees working with professional staff. A committee structure helps organize and communicate the work of the church, and allow members volunteer opportunities within the church and the community. The Leadership Development Committee has responsibility for matching member interests and skills with opportunities to serve and learn new skills.

    Committee on Ministry

The Committee on Ministry (CoM) is dedicated to the well being of our congregation. Our role is that of assessment and recommendation on all items affecting the health of the church and its people in the fulfillment of its missions through its ministries.

While the Board of Trustees is charged with operation and governance and the Council with program development, it is the role of the CoM to focus on the health of the whole. Our only authority is the respect afforded us in this role.

In 2008-2009 the Committee on Ministry (CoM) is also the Transition Team. As part of our transition to a newly settled minister we will be honoring our history as First Unitarian Church of Orlando. We will be devising unique ways in which each of us can tell our story and have fun along the way!

If you have any questions, concerns, suggestions or other thoughts, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the CoM.
