Adult Religious Education (RE) at the First Unitarian Church of Orlando starts where Sunday school left off. Adult RE classes connect us to the world community by opening our eyes to other cultures, reading religious texts, and prompting involving discussions. Our classes promote small group connections where you’ll get to meet new people and new ideas. Adult RE encompasses a wide range of events. Among other things, we offer Mystic Grove (our pagan group), Meditation, and Forums. Our church is very active in social action. We take action to back up our words. Some recent actions include providing for the homeless, fighting for marriage equality, and adopting a park. We invite you to become a part of Religious Education any Sunday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am in our Library. Members, nonmembers, and visitors are welcome to all events!
