Youth Groups

Youth Groups

We have two active youth groups at First Unitarian!  And being Unitarian Universalist youth, they prefer to be known as Yuuth Groups!

The Middle School Yuuth Group meets on 1st and 3rd Sundays at 12:30 PM after worship service in Room 15.  The lead advisor is Gladys Smith-Mangan.

The High School Yuuth Group meets every Sunday at 12:30 PM after worship service in Room 14.  The lead advisor is Carie Mendyk.

Youth are encouraged to gather together to learn, develop leadership skills, serve community, and of course – have fun and socialize!

If you or your child are interested in becoming a part of Youth Groups, please contact our Abbie Potter at lre@orlandouu.org !

Many volunteers have pitched in with time, energy, and much-needed supplies to ensure that our children receive the Religious Education Experience we have come to expect. Thank you, thank you to each of you who has been a part of this successful effort.

Children's RE - Nov 2008

Greetings Friends,

Our Judeo-Christian year is off to an amazing start with record attendance in all classes. Already students have planted a garden, sailed on Noah’s ark, learned the frustration of miscommunication in Babel, and investigated a crime scene that resulted in the arrest of a jealous farmer named Cain.
