![]() Dances of Universal Peace The Dances are moving meditations or body prayers that connect us with the spiritual traditions of the world through simple circle dances and chanting to feel the spirit which unites us with each other and all of creation. By cultivating peace within ourselves, connecting openly with others, and appreciating the value of all spiritual traditions, we generate peace within our world. Our dance circle is part of a larger network through many countries. All ages are welcome, and the Dances are appropriate for both children and seniors. The Dances are taught in the moment and no experience is needed. There is no fee and dress is casual. Just bring an open heart and friendly spirit. Our Dances are held monthly, except in July and August, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Gore Hall next to the Sanctuary. The Dance is followed by a potluck dinner and time of fellowship. For the potluck please bring a vegetarian dish or fresh produce platter. Dance leaders are also available for other events. For more information, or to be added to our email list for flyers, please contact Steve Hawkins at Dances@OrlandoUU.org .
